Pennsylvania Allows Warrant-less Car Searches On “Plausible Cause”

Pennsylvania Allows Warrant-less Car Searches On Plausible Cause

In a nasty and vindictive manner, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has allowed police to make up any excuse they want to search your vehicle without a warrant absent “exigent circumstances.” This new ruling out of Pennsylvania highlights the problems within the court system as injustice becomes the new fashion trend for blacker robes.

When police stop people of color and the poor, these hired thugs and minions of the priesthood of justice will spare no expense to misrepresent truth on the witness stand, plant evidence and throw people into the for profit private prison industrial complex.

As an example of the new Jim Crow, leading Supreme Court Justice Seamus McCaffery ruled in favor of the police’s botched use of basic procedures in the case, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania v. Gary.

The stupefying Louie Gohmert (R-TX-01) look-a-like delivered a scathing change to procedures police use to maintain credibility
by allowing the police in the state to avoid the antiquated notion of obtaining a warrant before violating the 4th Amendment to the Constitution of the United States.

Furthermore, let the ruling decision with the slippery slope know that over time this will be used as justification for warrant-less no knock SWAT team and DEA raids in some future dystopian world.

A future dystopian Pennsylvania where liberal or conservative judges will be chased down by law enforcement and hunted like dogs for what ever the police officer feels like pulling them over and finding prescription pain killers or other illegally prescribed and out of date medicine.

Finally, let’s use the Federal Supreme Court of the United States’ ruling in  Kaley v. United States that prevents you from capitalizing assets when a person is charged with a crime and wants to obtain a defense attorney. Thanks to this particular Federal court ruling, the pre-trial asset forfeiture of road piracy thanks to drug laws allow the police and prosecutors to claim all someone owns as the profit from the sales or transactions of illicit prescriptions of Oxycontin or illegal street drugs like marijuana.

After they have been stripped of all their wealth good luck trying to hire a decent lawyer that will take their criminal case pro-bono for a fair speedy trial. They might just as well invest in Vaseline stock options the way United States in-justice system works to set people up and throw them into cages and destroy their lives forever.

This is the “commercial reasonableness” of the New Jim Crow. This is how
the government turns on it’s citizens with fascism. This is how a beast grows its’ power.

The institution of Justice, like nearly every other major institution within our society, is acting in a way that delegitimizes their authority. This is a dangerous situation that is developing as citizens increasingly have legitimate cause to disregard the authority of the government. Chris Hedges has written a few good articles on this matter on Truthdig and truth-out.
