Indiana Man Claims FBI Tortures On US Soil

A veteran and former member of Anonymous, Matt DeHart, 29, of Canada claims he has been tortured by the United States of America’s Government.

DeHart who fled to asylum in Canada left the United States to enter college after being implicated in a child pornography fishing expedition by the Federal Bureau of Investigations.

An investigation of child pornography was likely inspired by the fact that he was a participant in the online protest group Anonymous.

Serious questions about DeHart’s treatment by the justice system’s attempts to destroy his credibility also mirror the treatment of other citizen journalists and activists.

For example, Aaron Schwartz who committed suicide due to the involvement of entities seeking to destroy his life and career for downloading open source documents. Barrett Brown, a citizen journalist who has been under constant scrutiny for publishing links posted by alleged Anonymous member Jeremy Hammond. And more like Christopher Weatherhead and Fidel Salinas for computer crimes unlike the Stratfor intelligence hack by Hammond that sought to expose corruption.

Some like Derric Lostutter who published information about the infamous Stubenville rape scandal. There are also other citizen journalists from the online community who have also been possibly assassinated in the last few years.

Michael Hastings and Barnaby Jack died under mysterious circumstances in the lead up to big stories about corruption and loopholes in the military and security leading many to believe that there has been an effort to silence journalists in the United States.

One of Michael Hastings last stories involved Bowe Bergdahl, the soldier who allegedly walked off the front lines in Afghanistan and defected to the enemy.

DeHart claims he was tortured and injected with a substance and questioned while stripped naked and confined to a chair by the Federal Bureau of Investigations. His parents have spent their life savings in his defense and to secure his release.
